The Vijay Nambisan Trust was formed in order to further the cause of Humanities, by addressing issues which are of value to the individual spirit, and to society.

It strives to do this through public lectures and through the promotion of art, literature, the social sciences and related subjects. The projects that have been successfully running from 2019 are the two public lectures (in Bangalore and Hyderabad) on subjects of value to society, and the poetry fellowship that is awarded once a year. 

The Trust operates from the residence of a trustee so there are no overhead expenses for office space, secretarial work etc.

The Trust seeks empathetic donors to contribute so it can continue the above and expand the scope of its projects.
